Dementia Advisor
We are seeking a Dementia Advisor to join our team, working remotely on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is an outreach point of contact for individuals concerned about their cognitive health and those with a dementia diagnosis, as well as their families and friends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offer practical assistance, support, advice, information sharing, and signposting for people living with dementia and their family/carers.
* SUPPORT the person and/or their families to navigate the health and social care system to ensure they receive the right support at the right time.
Requirements:
* Primary degree or equivalent in a relevant health or social care area.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dementia and related issues.
* Excellent knowledge and skills in working with people with dementia.
* Awareness of the legal aspects of working with vulnerable adults.
* Commitment to continuing professional development.
* Full clean driving license for travel purposes.
