Our client, a leading audit, tax and advisory firm of chartered accountants with offices nationwide, now has an opening for a Senior Tax Manager/Tax Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting stage of their journey, working on a hybrid basis where there is also excellent scope for progression and a clear career pathway on offer.The Role:You will form part of a close-knit multi-disciplinary tax team, also supporting and working with partners and clients in their other regional offices. Hybrid working is available once comfortable with the position. Reporting to the Tax Director in Limerick, the role will involve:Advising on bespoke tax planning assignments.Working on debt restructuring advisory assignments.Providing general financial planning advice.Working on international tax assignments.Working on Revenue audits and tax appeals – advising and representing clients with Revenue.Advising on ad hoc technical consultancy queries.Completion of tax compliance returns.Legislation and tax research.Working to tight deadlines.Supervising a team of Assistant Managers, Trainees, and Juniors.To be considered for this role, you will have the following:AITI / CTA qualification or Irish equivalent tax qualification.Qualified Accountant preferred but not essential.Strong Practice background with previous experience operating at Manager or Senior Manager level.Technically strong and skilled at researching and interpreting legislation.Comfortable training, supervising, and delegating to staff.Highly organised, adaptable, and flexible.Possessing a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Ability to meet tight working deadlines.Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture positive working relationships with co-workers and clients.Strong IT skills and proficient across the MS Office suite.Offer:Competitive salary and remuneration package commensurate with level and experience.Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave.Opportunity to develop a career path in one of the most technical and well-respected tax teams in the Midwest region.Working directly with highly experienced Tax Director and Tax Partner.Varied and challenging role with scope to develop your skill set and progress your career.Hybrid and flexible working on offer.Please contact Barry Dolan in Cregg Recruitment for further information on this role or apply online.
