Branch Manager

The ideal candidate will drive the sales and commercial performance of our branch, taking full day-to-day responsibility for its success.
To achieve this, you will develop relationships with existing and new customers to maximize sales opportunities. Additionally, you will oversee the management, coaching, and development of your team based at the branch.
Stock management is also a critical aspect of this role, including stock-taking, cycle counting, and reducing slow-moving stock levels while maintaining target stock levels. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining an efficient level of branch operating costs as well.
Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping in the warehouse, yard, and shop is essential, and you will work closely with our Group Marketing Manager to ensure local marketing campaigns are effective.
Requirements
* 3-5 years' experience in senior operational roles within the Builders Merchanting sector
* A results-driven individual with a proven track record of success
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Confidence in making decisions on a day-to-day basis

We estimate the salary for this position to be €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
