Topcon Positioning System is looking for a motivated and committed Business Development Specialist Paving.
Job Purpose:
* Establishment and expansion of Topcon’s paving business, focusing on 3D solutions for milling and paving and the digitalization of the whole paving process.
* Acquisition of new distributors and service providers, and supporting all sales through existing distributors/subsidiaries for this product portfolio.
* Contacting tendering authorities and private project owners to add our solutions into tenders.
Core Duties:
* Build a network with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the area.
* Maximize sales of the paving portfolio within the designated region in line with agreed sales budgets.
* Understand the paving industry and create business with existing and new stakeholders.
* Work closely with Topcon’s Sales and Marketing Teams to provide business solutions.
* Create and support events for distributors, subsidiaries, authorities, universities, and similar.
* Engage with tendering authorities and private project owners to include Topcon’s paving portfolio in tenders.
* Acquire new distributors and support existing ones for this product portfolio.
Education and Experience:
* Civil engineer or similar.
* 5+ years' experience in the paving and construction business.
* Sales experience with technical understanding.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Affinity for digitization.
* Ability to build trusted long-term professional relationships.
* Basic knowledge of surveying is an advantage.
* Able to present in front of decision-makers in local and English languages.
* Willing to work in a virtual team.
* Good skills in MS Office.
* Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce/SAP).
* Driving license (car).
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to visit job sites, including walking over rough terrain.
* Work from home in Ireland (home-office) with willingness to travel across the responsible region, including exceptional trips within the EMEA Region.
* This position requires up to 50% travel.
* Working on exhibitions is also part of this job.
