Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within a 3PL environment.
2. Manage and optimise the performance of picking teams and goods-in operations.
3. Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives, supervisors, and team leaders.
4. Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of client contracts, maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs).
5. Coordinate multiple client accounts and ensure smooth operations for each.
6. Monitor and maintain warehouse health and safety standards.
7. Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining quality.
8. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
9. Manage inventory control processes and ensure stock accuracy.
10. Address operational challenges with innovative solutions and a proactive mindset.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a warehouse manager in a 3PL environment.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience leading picking teams.
3. Demonstrable expertise in goods-in processes and warehouse operations.
4. Experience managing multiple contracts or client accounts in a warehouse setting.
5. Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.
6. In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A results-oriented approach with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
9. Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
