Receptionist/Clerical Officer Grade III
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist on behalf of our client based in Achill, Co. Mayo.
This is a temporary part-time position starting immediately until further notice, working Monday to Wednesday (09:00-17:00).
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome patients and visitors to the practice in a courteous and friendly manner.
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported.
* Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
* Schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments, and reschedule as needed.
* Manage patient queries.
* Assist with maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
* Ensure the reception area is kept clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
* Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Assist with data entry, updating systems, and handling confidential information.
* Assist with other administrative tasks as required by the practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to multitask and manage a busy work environment with attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office or similar).
* Professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
