Title: Financial Controller

Our client, a leading FMCG organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team in D.15. The Financial Controller will provide end to end management of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management and stakeholders.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
* Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimising liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
* Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companys goals.
* Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to promote efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.
* Ad hoc duties as required.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - CPA or CMA preferred.
* Minimum of 8 years+ of experience in a financial management role, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
* Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting.
* Proficient in financial software with strong excel experience.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous experience leading finance in an SME.
* FMCG/Retail/Logistics sector experience.
