Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at {company}. As a key member of the business, you will be responsible for driving growth across new and existing markets in the building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and expand market share.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, and construction companies.
* Cultivate relationships with existing clients to maximize repeat business and upselling opportunities.
* Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
* Attend client meetings, site visits, and networking events to foster strong relationships.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential gaps in the market.
* Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights for senior management.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the full product range and advise clients on suitable solutions.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
* Work closely with the internal sales, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 3-5 years in a business development or sales role, preferably within the construction or building materials sector.
* A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* A strong understanding of the construction industry and building materials.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, plus bonus and car allowance.
