Our client based in Dublin 4 are an international accounting, tax, audit, advisory, and business services firm specialising in providing support to SME's, large businesses, and individuals are looking for a Payroll Associate to join their team. Main responsibilities Oversee the complete payroll process and ensure compliance with auto-enrolment regulations for a diverse portfolio of clients. Handle all payroll-related tasks, including processing and filing ERR submissions, to ensure the seamless completion of payroll cycles. Cultivate strong relationships with clients while maintaining effective communication with colleagues across offices and external third-party providers. Collaborate with the broader team to review work completed by junior team members and provide support to the Payroll Manager. Respond promptly to client and third-party queries, offering assistance and expertise as needed. Conduct peer reviews of payrolls to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. Streamline existing processes within the team and ensure payroll records and files are accurately updated and maintained. Take on ad-hoc tasks or projects as required, contributing to team success and operational efficiency. Create and refine ad-hoc financial and operational reports to meet business and client needs. Skills & Attributes 2 yrs + in payroll with experience in payroll package IPASS qualified a distinct advantage Experience of working in a payroll bureau environment an advantage. End to end Payroll processing experience including pensions, benefits and statutory payments Must have the ability to manually calculate a payroll High level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems based work. A natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision. Strong customer focused approach, ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email. Be able to adapt to a highly changeable environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines. Effective client management experience and steps towards staff management. This is a full time permanent role which offers Hybrid once established.
