We’re working with a leading tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
* Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Implement risk management plans to ensure project success.
* Chair weekly QA meetings.
* Close out any design issues during the design process in line with the program.
* Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and community members.
* Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
* Ensure the Design Management is managed in line with the site constraints and within the target program.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, with a track record of successful project delivery.
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations in Ireland.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
