Amazon Web Services Cloud Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing technical assistance and support for their cloud-based applications.
About the Role:
* This is a customer support role in the cloud, where you will work with customers to resolve technical issues and improve their experience with AWS services.
* You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
* Apart from working on a broad spectrum of technical issues, an AWS Support Engineer may also coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives, participate in new hiring, write tools/scripts to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solving customer cases through various channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat.
2. Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers.
3. Couching/mentoring new hires, developing & presenting training, partnering with development teams, participating in new hiring, writing tools/scripts, and working with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of technical support experience.
* Bachelor's degree, or 1+ years of network and operating system support experience.
* Experience working with Hardware Security Models.
* Experience with a broad array of security technologies, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security, and more.
* One or more security-related certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, CISM, SECURITY+, OSCP, etc.
