Detailed Job Description:
You will be responsible for managing Campus Network and EMEA WAN infra, managing and maintaining larger and complex environments.
Expected Qualifications and Critical Experiences:
1. 6+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining larger and complex environments.
2. Defining processes and ensuring that they are adhered to.
3. Overseeing and being responsible for successful completion of installation, configuration, and migration.
4. Ensuring maximum uptime according to the SLA.
5. Understanding of multi-geo support environment.
6. Responsible for building and maintaining a test environment.
7. Improving and maintaining customer and employee satisfaction.
8. Adhering to SLAs.
9. Mentoring and training team members.
10. Handling tickets and requests.
11. Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting, driving technical issues with other teams/domains (Server, VMWare, Storage, etc.).
12. Suggesting new technologies and design changes.
13. Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by team members.
14. Testing, auditing, and processes as required from time to time.
15. Identifying skill gaps and planning for training/knowledge updating.
16. Managing Campus Network and EMEA WAN infra.
Excellent hands-on experience on the following products:
1. Cisco L3 & L2 Switches
2. Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches
3. Cisco IOS Software and NX OS Software
4. Knowledge of SD WAN.
Advantageous:
1. Wireless LAN technologies (Cisco and Aruba or Extreme).
2. WAN Acceleration/Optimization (Riverbed).
3. Knowledge or hands-on experience with CISCO.
Mandatory Skills and Certification:
1. Prime would be advantageous.
2. VMWare NSX.
3. Network Management tools (Solarwinds, HPNNMi, or Splunk).
4. Application Load balancers (F5 Big IP LTM/GTM or Citrix Netscaler).
5. Experience with BGP, SDWAN, and Security Technology.
Soft Skills:
1. Excellent communication and conversation skills (verbal and written).
2. Good documentation.
3. Basic understanding of Project Management.
4. Excellent customer handling skills.
5. Able to handle high-pressure situations.
6. High level of acceptance / Act as trusted advisor.
