With rapid growth in recent years to now be at €100m Revenue, with over 1k direct and indirect employees, the company is now positioning itself to guarantee continued success in the future with a number of transformational C-Level appointments including this role of Chief People Officer.
Background to the Chief People Officer role:
The company is at an inflection point and the appointment of the next generation of leaders in the business is critical to the continued success of the business.
* This will ensure a strong and aligned C-suite to work with the very talented existing senior managers and employee base.
Location & Reporting lines:
* Reporting to the CEO, the role will be based from the company’s Ireland-based HQ operation. The company operates a flexible working environment. A willingness and ability to travel frequently to company main office locations across Western and Eastern Europe is essential.
Responsibilities:
* Work to mature and develop the company’s HR function such that it is a pro-active, dependable, and responsive enabler of growth for a fast-growing €100m+ Revenue company, with an emphasis on establishing internal and external credibility.
* Analyse current HR practices and create a change management plan for improvements, including team structure, systems, and consolidation of duties.
* Identify areas for improvement and help drive an appropriate HR function strategy and people agenda.
* Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organisation that has strong people management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
* Identify opportunities for cost mitigation and streamlining activities that will allow for more sustainable growth.
* Comply with international and local employment law requirements by studying existing and upcoming legislation and taking appropriate action.
* Ensure active management and development of HR personnel and oversee and enhance HR information systems.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Experience in complex, global, matrix organisations in senior HR leadership roles.
* Global knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations surrounding HR areas of responsibility in multiple geographically distributed jurisdictions.
* Experience with large-scale HR transformation activities.
* Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
* Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
* Expertise to advise on streamlining the company’s Employee Rewards Structure to ensure it is fit for purpose and in line with company objectives.
* Ability to work with IT specialists to optimise the outcome on HR-related projects.
* A willingness to travel across all delivery locations is essential, as the organisation has multiple offices with similar staffing and challenges.
Remuneration:
An attractive base salary and bonus scheme and LTIP potential commensurate with the candidate’s experience will be offered.
