Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Contribute to all aspects of Ophthalmic services, including Pre and Post Operative care.
* Coordinate and control patient flow on surgery days, minimising waiting times and dealing with patient queries.
* Set up and clean theatre rooms.
* Assist with the discharge process of surgical patients, instructing them on post-procedure care.
* Restock examination, treatment, and consultation rooms.
* Support the Theatre Nurse Manager with stock ordering.
* Adhere to infection control policies and maintain theatre cleanliness.
* Maintain and develop good professional relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors.
Requirements
* Background in Healthcare is essential.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Healthcare or equivalent.
* Passionate about high-quality patient safety and care.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Competent in IT.
* Skills: patient care, interpersonal skills.
