Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist
Location: North Limerick City, Westbury Primary Care Centre
Contract Type: Full-time, 1-Year Specified Purpose Contract
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Aligned with HSE pay scales for the appropriate Senior grade.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Community Intervention Team in Limerick. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and supporting patients/older persons in the community.
Your work will help individuals regain mobility, maintain independence, and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments for patients with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and age-related conditions.
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
* Support early discharge from hospitals by providing rehabilitation and reablement interventions in the community.
* Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
* Engage in regular supervision, peer learning, and professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise.
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:
* BSc in Physiotherapy.
* CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
* Minimum of three years of post-graduate Physiotherapy experience, with at least one year at Senior level (preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting).
* Strong experience in Rehabilitation, falls prevention, Musculoskeletal, and/or Neurological Physiotherapy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Full clean driver's license and access to a car for community visits.
