Hotel Talent is excited to announce the role for a Wedding Coordinator to join the team at a Hotel operation in Wicklow. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of wedding planning and coordination, ensuring an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of weddings, from initial planning through to the big day, including vendor coordination, timeline management, guest services, and ensuring all details are flawlessly executed. The Wedding Coordinator will also work closely with couples to understand their vision, offering expert guidance and support throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the entire sales and event process from the initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients and stakeholders alike.
* Collaborate closely with wedding couples, event planners, and internal operational teams to ensure seamless event execution, managing all logistics, timelines, and client expectations with precision.
* Uphold the highest standards within the Sales & Events department, consistently delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the event lifecycle, from initial consultation to post-event feedback.
* Efficiently manage administrative tasks, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in documentation, communication, and coordination, while maintaining up-to-date records for future reference.
* Drive sales and revenue generation by proactively converting inquiries into bookings, maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Assist in on-the-day event coordination for weddings and other events, ensuring all elements run smoothly, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and providing support to clients and team members as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in events, hospitality, or a similar sales-driven role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly approach.
* Excellent computer proficiency; knowledge of hotel operations is an advantage.
* Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and midweek shifts.
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
