**Technical Manager Role**

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to oversee all technical, quality, and food safety aspects of our fresh produce operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all technical and quality functions within the company.
* Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, retailer standards, and other industry regulations.
* Act as the main point of contact for customer technical requirements and audits.
* Lead and develop the technical team, ensuring best practices in food safety and quality control.
* Manage internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
* Maintain and improve quality management systems and technical documentation.
* Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure quality is upheld throughout the supply chain.
* Investigate and resolve any quality or technical issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality and food safety.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in food safety and compliance.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical or quality management role within the fresh produce or food industry.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including BRC, HACCP, and retailer specifications.
* Experience leading and developing a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
