Location: Bedford
Salary: £38,500 plus OTE of up to £75k
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the cleaning industry. This individual will play a key role in expanding their market presence, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and exceptional negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities in the cleaning sector and booking appointments.
2. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives, expanding the client base and increasing revenue streams.
4. Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored proposals to prospective clients, effectively showcasing the company's services and value propositions.
5. Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experience: Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the cleaning, facilities management, or service industry.
2. Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in generating leads, managing sales pipelines, and closing deals.
3. Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels.
4. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
5. Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically and proactively address client needs and challenges.
6. Self-Motivated: Results-driven with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Meetings: Must be willing to travel across Bedford, Oxford, Northampton, London etc.
