Reports To: DC Manufacturing Manager
Location: Fermoy, Ireland

Position Summary:
DC Manufacturing Team Lead follows instructions and blueprints to assemble Custom Single Run (CSR) Disposable Containers (DC) for use in the biopharmaceutical industry. The lead will manage a team of DC Manufacturing Technicians, assist them with DC manufacturing efforts and have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry leading equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for the KPIs in DC manufacturing
2. Successfully develop and lead a team of DC Manufacturing Technicians
3. Plan and monitor the day-to-day operations
4. Ensure DC is a right first-time product; understand fully the associated quality acceptance criteria and highlight anything that may not meet specification
5. Conduct operations in a safe manner and maintain a clean and safe working environment
6. Evaluate, monitor, and increase productivity
7. Carry out procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines (GDLs)
8. Compile all associated documentation to an acceptable standard and in line with ABEC criteria for DC builds
9. Adhere to all associated standards and procedures for working in a classified clean environment
10. Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabricating equipment, measuring devices
11. Operate overhead crane and/or forklift
12. Develop training plans and support training of new employees and retraining of existing employees
13. Execute other tasks as assigned
14. Ability to travel when required
Qualifications:
1. Self-motivated
2. Capable of maintaining a clean and safe working environment
3. Two (2) years previous experience preferably in a classified clean environment
4. Supervisory experience preferred
5. Experience in producing documentation subject to quality and customer audit
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to read tape measure and perform simple mathematical equations
8. Aptitude with blueprint reading
9. Proficient with the use of hand tools and basic fabrication tools
10. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. / 23 kilograms
11. Physically capable of wearing protective body, eye, ear, and head gear
12. Ability to stand for long periods of time
13. Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull and carry items
14. Ability to wear all personal protective equipment & cleanroom gowning equipment
