Job Description:
Position Title: Final/Sub Assembly - Fitter
Reporting To: Assembly Team Leader
Location: Carrickmacross
Hours of Work: 40 Hours – Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 14:30 PM
We require experienced personnel who are capable of working in a team-based environment manufacturing mobile screening equipment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assembly line fitting
* Use of power and manual tooling
* Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
* Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
* Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
* Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience of fitting hydraulics
* Experience in mechanical fitting
* Experience of working in a similar environment would be desirable
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Self-motivated and high energy
* Ability to work within a team
* Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities

MDS is a manufacturer of heavy-duty and recycling trommels, apron feeders, and conveyor systems, based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Ireland.
