Network Deployment Engineer II

Astreya is looking for an experienced Network Deployment Engineer with a strong technical background to play a highly visible role in an exciting, industry-leading technology company. The Network Engineer will provide worldwide office network engineering, implementation, support and miscellaneous projects for our customer's network engineering team. You will work with teammates in a dynamic, growing organization. In addition to network infrastructure deployments, you will also support our customer's team that enables scalable, reliable and agile network delivery through the use of workflow automation, process engineering and tooling.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide corporate office network deployment and implementation
2. Deploy corporate network solutions in offices and datacenters
3. Turn up corporate network hardware in offices and datacenters
4. Update all documentation pertaining to office deployments, upgrades and decommissions
5. Update all monitoring tools pertaining to office deployments, upgrades and decommissions
6. Provide ongoing technical support and problem resolution for office deployments, upgrades, decommissions and general office network problems
7. Coordinate with the infrastructure team in all aspects of network equipment installation, power, cooling and cabling
8. Coordinate with relevant teams in all aspects related to equipment installation, service testing and problem resolution
9. Attend weekly project manager meetings and provide update
10. Provide weekly progress updates to the project manager and the team lead
11. Improve documentation and implementation process
12. Support various teams in developing network standards
13. Support various teams in developing network projects close out procedures
14. Provide feedback and participate in the development of the automation tools
Required/Desired Skills
15. 3+ year's experience in Network Engineering and Deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment
16. Hands on experience on Juniper routers/switches/firewall, Cisco L2/L3 switches and Aruba/Arista wireless. '
17. Good understanding of programming (Ruby, Python, Bash, etc) or automation systems like Ansible, Tail -F, Chef, Puppet.
18. Good understanding of ipv4/ipv6 protocols, ARP handling, ACLs and QoS.
19. Experience with Layer 2 protocols (HSRP, ARP, STP ,VLAN,Trunks and port-channels)
20. Experience with routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
21. Experience with WAN Technology (MPLS, VPN, SDWAN)
22. Experience with Pala Alto firewalls (rule creation, log monitoring, device installation, device configuration).
23. Experience with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standards and related components
24. Basic systems and Linux skills are preferred
25. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, written and oral communication skills.
26. Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
27. Ability to diagnose basic technical problems and find the root cause
28. Work flexibility up to 50% out of hours/weekend pending on customer needs
Preferred Qualifications:
29. Understanding of various scripting languages is strongly desired
30. Certification such as CCNA, JNCIA, RHCT, or equivalent experience
