My Client is one of leading FMCG companies in it‘s sector and due to a successful employee moving on, they are looking to recruit a Sales Support Co-Ordinator. My Client has some iconic brands have operations worldwide and they have a fantastic team in place in the Irish office. In this role, you will get to work with and report to a personable and fair Sales Director with a wealth of experience within the FMCG sector and the Business is led by one of the best Country Managers in the Foods/Drinks Marketplace!
Salary for this role is circa 40,000 comes with a bonus- which is fair and attainable- and an excellent pension scheme and 27 days holidays with hybrid working!
NB To be considered for this position you must have 1-3 years admin/commercial support experience in the Irish FMCG sector- so worked as an Admin support or as National Executive.
Purpose of the Role
To support the Head of Sales and the Account Managers in the areas of customer administration, performance and forecast management.
Performance Management
* Provide support to the Head of Sales and sales team.
* Run regular sales updates for 2 divisions and circulate to the business at agreed frequency.
* Work closely with the Finance Manager to create a suite of sales reports for review of internal performance.
* Deliver improved customer promotional effectiveness and profitability through pre and post promotional activity evaluation (value based).
Customer Administration
* Prepare promotion submissions accurately for all national accounts for on time submission following sign off by Head of Sales.
* Prepare New Line forms for each account, as outlined by account managers.
* Ensure all customer/agent related administration is completed as required (i.e. promotional proposals, product files, pricing files etc.).
* Updating monthly of promotion summary sheets 4 months ahead, and inputting information onto promotional summary sheet.
* Liaison with supply chain on monthly service level to customers to ensure latest update is always available for trade meetings.
* Consistently high customer service: same day response time, prioritisation and solving of customer “issues” within agreed time frames.
* Manage and monitor all National Account promotional expenditure versus budget set and agreed including rebate payments. Calculate monthly LTA payments for nominated accounts.
Forecast Management
* Monitor account/sector forecast ensuring market intelligence is properly communicated and captured within the internal forecast tool.
* Recommend changes to forecast based on changes in business plans with customers, or changes due to increase/reduced base distribution.
* Participate fully in forecast monthly & alignment meetings. Support the Account Managers in managing issues which flow from the forecast review meetings.
