Position Summary:
The Development Manager assists the Head of New Business & Delivery in overseeing the expansion of Tuath via new development opportunities to increase Tuath's housing supply. They formulate Tuath's development programme, establish strong relationships with external stakeholders, and ensure that new business opportunities are financially viable.
Qualifications:
Suitable candidates will have a relevant third-level qualification in Real Estate, Property Management, or other related disciplines. Development/Project Management experience is necessary. MS Office proficiency is required. A personal vehicle and a full clean driving license are also required.
You will:
1. Identify, promote and secure a range of new acquisition, management & development opportunities in line with the Association's development strategy.
2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.
3. Operate with good commercial and financial acumen.
4. Negotiate, liaise and communicate effectively with all potential clients.
5. Work closely with the Head of New Business & Delivery to deliver affordable/cost rental housing provision.
6. Manage the New Business team to ensure delivery of all projects in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience within the property sector.
2. Experience in development, construction, negotiation, and legal conveyance processes.
3. Experience in managing staff.
4. Ability to manage a development programme and prioritize to optimize team performance.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
7. Good organizational and time-management skills.
8. Participate on forums/working groups/committees as required.
9. Promote a culture supportive of excellent service delivery and meets Tuath Housing's vision, mission, and values.
