STEM Recruitment Partners are representing a leading client in the Dublin West region seeking an OEM Automation Engineer to support the development and delivery of Siemens S7 PLC systems for a new API manufacturing facility in Blanchardstown, Co.
Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Siemens solutions in line with S88 standards, managing robust, compliant, and cost-effective OEM solutions within project timelines.
This role is pivotal to the start-up, commissioning, and qualification of this key capital project.
12 month contract initially.
Hourly rate up to €60-65/hour DOE Principal Responsibilities Collaborate with Automation and Process Engineers to ensure timely deliverables for project milestones.
Serve as the primary contact for OEM-related issues, documenting and coordinating resolutions.
Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) teams during system shakedown and verification.
Design, code, and test Siemens software modifications identified during commissioning.
Oversee the implementation of OEM packages, including: FIBC Discharge Stations FIBC Pickoff Stations TCUs Vacuum Pumps RTO FD Heel Isolator Wash Isolator Sample Isolator Dispensing Isolator Qualifications A minimum of 5 years experience in automation design, commissioning, and start-up.
At least 5 years experience working with Siemens PLCs.
Strong ability to challenge, defend, and present technical aspects of system design.
Education Degree-level qualification in chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
