As a core member of our Enterprise Platform and Engineering IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.
Citco seeks a highly skilled technical lead to spearhead the development of a common enterprise pipeline tool, define CI/CD strategy, and drive adoption across our organization. This role merges deep technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring that our pipeline solutions support all our current and future needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building large, scalable Jenkins infrastructure and is a creative thinker, problem solver, teacher, learner and should have excellent collaboration skills. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on developing the next generation enterprise pipeline infrastructure.
This position reports to the SVP of Enterprise Architecture and Platform Engineering and is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and someone who has that unique combination of technical savvy and interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesYour Role: You will be responsible to lead the design and implement a unified enterprise pipeline framework leveraging Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or other relevant tools.Build a scalable Jenkins platform that can handle multiple concurrent jobs and service all IT teams.Assess emerging CI/CD technologies, recommend improvements, and drive tool adoption across teams.Lead a team of developers and devops engineers to build a robust Jenkins platformDefine deliverables and timelines and be responsible for ensuring these are met on time.Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align on strategy, and champion DevOps culture.Pipeline administration and ensure all teams utilise Infrastructure as Code to effect change and that the environment features the required controls and audit components to validate resource complianceProvide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and collaborationDefine and implement all operational components required to proactively monitor and manage the production environment, identify operational issues and maintain efficient operationsLead team through all service disruptions to ensure services are restored; drive root cause analysis and remediation initiatives post any service disruptionDefine and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across the pipeline ecosystem.Identify bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and push for end-to-end automation in the deployment processQualificationsAbout You:Strong background in Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and other CI/CD tools. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or equivalent cloud/DevOps tech is a plus.Solid coding skills (e.g., Python, Node.js) and a solid grasp of version control (Git).3+ years of experience in leading and managing a team and accountable for deliverables.Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud providers.
