A leading medical device company with global operations who are experiencing strong growth is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its team in Co Leitrim.
This is a permanent position, working Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Your new job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Perform reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
* Support month-end closing processes and assist in preparing management accounts.
* Assist with statutory audits.
* Handle various accounting tasks as required.
* Comply with plant safety protocols and workplace health and safety regulations, taking responsibility for areas under your control.
* Understand the environmental impact of your role and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
What are we looking for?
* Qualification in business or accounting.
* 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in computer applications, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
