Job Title: Customer Service Assistant

The primary objective of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience through a helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable approach. The day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting the Shop Manager and team in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while maintaining high standards throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop, including opening and closing procedures, managing cash handling, and guiding the shop team.
* Step up and manage shop operations in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager, overseeing cash management procedures, and leading the team.
* Manage the shop on occasion, which will lead to further development opportunities.
* Combine working in a fast-paced retail environment with undertaking training and on-the-job supports to continuously upskill and progress within the company.
* Provide an outstanding customer experience through a helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable approach.
* Accept bets accurately and process customer bets through multiple channels, including betting terminals and EPOS systems.
* Act as a Brand Ambassador, introducing customers to the multi-channel/digital journey.
* Work under pressure and remain calm while constantly looking for ways to improve yourself and the shop.
* Maintain shop presentation standards to a high quality throughout your working day.
* Ensure all procedures (safety, compliance, and shop operations) are always followed.
* Be passionate about working within a team environment and adhere to Social Responsibility duties.
