As a Key Accounts Manager for PPD Ireland, you will develop the Growth Business Plan (GBP) for your customer portfolio in close collaboration with the Activation Manager, Education Manager & Regional Commercial Manager, in accordance with the Division's strategy.
Responsibilities:
* Establish a partnership and close contacts with the leaders and decision-makers within your Key Accounts portfolio.
* Create a real proximity with the customer and be the essential PPD representative for the customer's leadership and decision-makers.
* Turnover & P&L: develop, plan and ensure the execution of a business plan for your account(s), including turnover, market share, GBP, and trade marketing plan.
* Build a Growth Business Plan (GBP) for each customer in close collaboration with the channel Activation Manager and present the GBP during account negotiations.
* Ensure that the GBP is built on all growth levers: commercial agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising, development opportunities, etc.
* Translate data into insight into action, by leveraging available data sources, in collaboration with Activation and Category Management.
* Collaborate with your Activation counterpart on the Growth Business Plan communication and implementation with the account and internally.
* Ensure the proper management of the budget for your account portfolio (sales forecast, negotiation and promotional budget, sell out budget) with the support of supply chain and channel controller.
* Prepare and lead the annual negotiations with your Key Accounts portfolio; establish the action plan necessary to achieve the objectives; ensure its execution and follow-up.
You have:
* A business driven and Customer Centric mindset.
* Knowledge of commercial strategy and experience working with National or Key Accounts.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyse data and experience of working of sell-out forecast accuracy, consistency and control.
* Financial competencies & ROI driven: Customer P&L including discounts and investment management. Comfortable in working in excel and modelling scenarios.
* Experience of building relationships across an organisation and strong stakeholder management.
* Strong planning and organisation skills with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines.
* Strong communicator and comfortable building and adapting presentations to deliver compelling customer centric plans.
* A solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
* Comprehensive understanding of the Irish Professional Hair market – ideal but not required.
