Job Title: Mechanical Estimator - HVAC Contractor
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Kildare. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of industry experience and a strong background in mechanical contracting.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position with great career opportunities for the right candidate. The salary is €60K-€80K, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
* Provide effective commercial and contractual support to operations on major projects.
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Liaise with clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
* Closely monitor and process project variations.
* Negotiate and purchase Sub-Contractors and suppliers.
* Monitor project costs against budgets and identify problems or opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of industry-relevant experience.
* Tendering on large-scale projects, including commercial, pharma, DC, and healthcare.
* Liaising with relevant parties throughout the full tender process.
* A relevant third-level degree and/or a mechanical trade background.
* Experience in a mechanical contracting environment essential.
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills required.
