Architectural Technologist Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team in Tralee, County Kerry. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with architects, designers, and engineers to design and develop architectural plans for construction projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal, and regulatory issues related to construction projects.
* Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory procedures.
* Identify necessary surveys (e.g., land surveys) and ensure they are completed and integrated into the project.
* Develop project briefs and contribute to their development as the project progresses.
* Create and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
* Conduct risk assessments during the design stage.
* Administer contracts and project certifications.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Possession of a relevant technical qualification.
* Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
* Proficiency in either AutoCAD or Autodesk REVIT.
* Desirable skills include Sketchup and Photoshop proficiency, as well as hand-drawing/sketching abilities.
