Position: Basic Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Location: Dublin D16
Role: Full Time Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract 6-9 Months
Salary: 60,000 - 98,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are recruiting for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a leading in-patient mental health service delivering exceptional care to adults with complex mental health and neuropsychiatric needs on a fixed term basis. The Role:
* Conduct psychological assessments and develop therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups.
* Manage a caseload of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
* Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance best practices.
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and maintain up-to-date records.
* Support patients in achieving recovery goals through evidence-based approaches.

About You:
* Hold a recognised/validated Level 8 qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
* A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.
* Have at least one year of post-graduate experience in adult mental health or related settings.
* Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Post-qualification experience working within adult mental health/psychiatry of later life.
* Experience working within a mental health rehabilitation setting/framework.
* Training in cognitive-behavioural therapy.
* Training/expertise in at least one other therapeutic modality (e.g. family therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy, emotion-focused therapy, compassion-focused therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy).
