What is the opportunity?:
As a Manager, Statutory Accounting, you will be responsible for various tasks related to record-to-report and local entity financial statements. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect:
1. Coordinate the financial statement preparation, tax provisions and compliance for 13+ local entities.
2. Collaboration with external advisors to support the ongoing compliance for local entities.
3. Assist in the co-ordination of statutory audits and local compliance filing requirements.
4. Responsible for compliance with statutory reporting requirements and deadlines.
5. Document all financial statement GAAP bridging activities for each of the local entities.
6. Research, document, and provide input on GAAP, statutory accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and update documentation, as necessary.
8. Review of quarterly P&L and balance sheet entries for each local entity.
9. Collaborate on and review transfer pricing journal entries and provide input on the processes, as required.
10. Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to gather information necessary for task execution.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
1. Ideally ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualified.
2. At least 5+ years working in a multi-national accounting/finance team.
3. Prior working knowledge of international statutory accounting.
4. Oracle ERP experience an advantage.
5. Excellent analytical acumen.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Must be meticulous, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.
8. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to be flexible while working with time constraints and deadlines.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
