What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager of Renewal SaaS Sales to lead our renewal sales team and drive customer retention and revenue growth. The Manager of Renewal SaaS Sales will oversee and lead a team of renewal account executives to ensure high customer retention rates, identify growth opportunities, and optimize renewal processes. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and maximizing net revenue retention. Here’s a breakdown:
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
1. Lead, mentor, assist in hiring and develop a team of renewal sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
2. Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on customer success and achieving retention metrics.
3. Conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings to provide coaching, feedback, and support.
Strategy and Execution:
1. Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer retention, minimize churn, and increase upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
2. Establish and refine processes for renewal tracking, outreach, and negotiation to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
3. Collaborate with customer success, account management, and sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Customer Retention and Growth:
1. Monitor customer contracts and proactively manage the renewal process to ensure timely renewals.
2. Analyse customer data to identify at-risk accounts and create actionable plans to address churn risks.
3. Drive discussions around value realization and ROI to secure renewals and uncover expansion opportunities.
Reporting and Analysis:
1. Track and report on key performance metrics, including renewal rates, churn rates, and net revenue retention.
2. Analyse trends and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
3. Present renewal forecasts and performance updates to senior leadership.
What will you bring to Omnissa?
1. 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales or renewal sales, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams.
2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding retention and upsell/cross-sell targets.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
5. Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.
6. Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and renewal management tools (e.g., Gainsight, Zendesk).
7. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
