Delicatessen Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Delicatessen Manager to lead our team in North Cork. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a busy cafe or deli environment, with a proven track record of managing a team and achieving high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the running of busy deli production, ready-made meals, hot counter, cold food offering, and salad bar
* Manage up to 12-15 staff members, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard
* Ensure the department has the correct amounts of stock to trade for the week, using technology and sales reports to analyze stock levels and reduce waste and shrinkage
* Maintain all food safety protocols, including hygiene records and HACCP records
Requirements:
* Previous management experience working with food in a busy customer-facing environment
* Strong stock control experience, handling orders for large quantities of different fresh food offerings
* Holding high standards in your expectations of customer service, cleanliness, and merchandising fresh food displays
* Strong organisational skills
* Confident in directing staff to complete work, maintaining relationships, and building rapport with your team
