Fexco Managed Services are currently recruiting a Programme Executive to join their SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) team on a full-time basis, on a 12-month (Maternity Leave Cover) contract.
The successful candidate will join the Better Energy Homes team in SEAI.
This role can be based at one of the SEAI head offices (Dublin, Cork, Sligo or Dundalk), with options for hybrid working. This would include working 3 days remote working and 2 days onsite.
About this Role:
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has been designated as the National Retrofit Delivery Body, responsible for achieving Ireland’s target of upgrading 500,000 homes to a B2 energy rating by 2030, as outlined in the Programme for Government and the National Climate Action Plan 2021.
SEAI is seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate about sustainability and want to help us in reducing carbon and energy use in Ireland.
This maternity cover role will support the customer journey, process management and development, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing scheme development.
Key Functions of the Role of Programme Executive:
The key responsibilities of the Programme Executive will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Support the delivery of national energy policy actions including the Climate Action Plan, a key objective of the National Retrofit Directorate. This will typically involve supporting service delivery and grant management, client and supplier engagement, and ongoing programme enhancement for the Better Energy Homes grant programme.
2. Support the development of new programmes as needed including supporting IT development for the programme and Change Management.
3. Support programme efficiency and effectiveness through contributing to the development and continual improvement of new and existing processes, as well as ensuring transparency and simplicity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Create, design, maintain programme KPI reports relating to programme objectives and outcomes, performance, and trend analysis.
5. Input into analysis and feedback processes to ensure programme objectives are being met, are customer focused, and involve identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
6. Initiate, develop and maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders including service providers.
7. Provide input to and action outputs from the Voice of Customer (VOC) mechanisms to improve overall programme and customer experience.
8. Develop, review and maintain scheme standard documents and communications, ensuring compliance with corporate governance processes.
9. Conduct ongoing organisational tasks including website updates, handling programme inquiries and general programme administration.
10. Undertake any other duties/projects as may be assigned from time to time.
11. Contribute to and participate in various events on behalf of SEAI.

* Experience in working in building energy retrofit activities would be an advantage.
Experience and Personal Qualities Required:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
* A third level qualification and/or a minimum five years’ experience of working in an energy-related policy environment or in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in process design and mapping development.
* Strong experience in training development, delivery and evaluation.
* Commitment to quality and continual improvement.
* Analysis and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, quality and ability to think strategically and use sound judgement on complex issues.
* Strong focus on Voice of the Customer (VOC) and customer experience.
