Job Title: Facility Manager (Engineering Operations Manager)
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure work is done according to established practices and procedures.
* Oversee the availability zone of Data Centers at 2-4 locations.
* Participate in strategic planning projects.
* May oversee the build out of Facility-specific infrastructure in existing locations.
* Recruit and train team members.
* Develop project plans using business knowledge.
* Ensure application of best practices in their area of expertise.
* Operate and manage critical systems including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
* Assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
* Improve current facility efficiency through projects.
* Manage assets and inventory.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree and relevant experience.
* Relevant engineering experience managing large scale services in a mission-critical environment.
* Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects & prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Data Center Engineering Experience.
* Experience in mission-critical operations environment (e.g., nuclear facility, high technology manufacturing, healthcare, aviation maintenance, oil and gas) preferably linked to 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
* Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling.
