Job Title: Rehabilitation Psychologist

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement psychological interventions that meet individual service-users' needs by providing holistic assessment and direct support and guidance to service-users and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support planning: Support students/service users and staff to identify personal goals and learning, social, emotional, cognitive needs.
2. Psychological assessment: Undertake appropriate psychological assessments using data from psychological tests, self-report measures, direct and indirect observations, and interviews with students/service users and other stakeholders where appropriate.
3. Psychological intervention & support: Design and implement high-quality, formulation-driven psychological interventions, therapies, and supports based on established evidence-based practice and Rehab Groups commitment to the principles of recovery, co-production, equality, diversity, dignity, and respect.
4. Practice support & systems level intervention: Provide support, regular consultation, and guidance to staff to help them deliver high-quality support in line with best practice.
Requirements:
* Relevant Master's and/or Doctorate level professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* Chartered membership (or eligible for) with the Psychological Society of Ireland or Chartered membership (or eligible for) of the British Psychological Society.
* At least 3 years' work experience in the field of Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability.
* An understanding of the Recovery Approach and of Person-Centred Planning would be an advantage.
