Job Overview:
The Production Technician is responsible for the setting up, configuration, and testing of PC-based medical diagnostic systems including all hardware & software options to required customer specifications in accordance with company set procedures as and when required. Calibration of Medical Devices in accordance with Local Procedures. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive, and focused team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manufacture company products to high-quality standards using appropriate tools and procedures.
* Process and issue materials to Work Orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Collaborate with engineering and senior supervisors on projects, process improvements, and new product introductions.
* Maintain accurate documentation, uphold safety standards, and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
* Contribute to lean projects and work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Inform the Manufacturing Supervisor of any malfunction of plant equipment likely to hold production for any period of time, deficiencies in material, and/or any other issues that do not meet the company standards.
* Any other responsibilities as and when required to perform the role.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in manufacturing operations is favorable.
* Experience in setting up and configuration of PCs is an essential requirement.
* Ideally a Level 6 in Electronic Engineering or equivalent background.
* 3–5 years of experience building, configuring, and testing medical devices.
* Hands-on skills in wiring, soldering, and hand assembly would be advantageous.
* Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel; familiarity with Oracle database systems.
* Willingness to work rotational day/evening shifts leading up to month/quarter-end.
* The ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
