POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Controller will be a seasoned people manager. This role has emerged due to the company’s ongoing expansion. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, this person will be responsible for the businesses’ financial team management, financial control and reporting, and shared service centre. This is a high-profile role which will give lots of exposure across the business. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, be passionate about partnering with business stakeholders both internal and external, and have the initiative to drive processes forward as the company continues to scale at pace. ABOUT THE ROLE
* Continue to Build and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Total ownership of the monthly financial reporting process, delivering consolidation of group companies; along with key insights and analysis to assist business performance.
* Develop a deep understanding of the business’s operations to ensure that the monthly management accounts are delivered accurately and on-time.
* Lead and deliver on the group and regional audit requirements.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the group, including FP&A, Operations,
* Legal and Procurement.
* Share services experience an advantage.
* Play an active role in driving continuous improvement initiatives with a particular focus on enhancing financial models and reporting tools.
* Presenting to senior executives and other ad hoc business duties as required.
* Participate in Group projects as required such as assisting with due diligence analysis of target companies.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Qualified accountant with 8 – 10+ years post qualified experience, at least 3 years in a similar role in a high growth environment.
* Seasoned people management skills.
* Excellent communicator with proven influencing skills across all levels.
* Strong commercial & technical acumen.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including advanced excel.
* Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team.
