HR Specialist (Maternity Cover) 12-month contract
Onsite; Monday - Friday (37.5 hour work week)
Primary purpose of the role;
The HR Specialist will assist the Global HR Director in the responsibility of all union employees, Ireland BS&B affiliates and all other BS&B EMEA locations. He/she will be the point of contact for all ER & IR issues, assist in the recruitment of unionised and office-based staff positions for group. This position is within the Central HR department for BS&B globally and will be involved with all global locations in terms of HR.
The role;
Worldwide HRIS
* Assist in the accountability of the data accuracy for Central HR Information System (OneAdvanced)
* Always ensure compliance to company procedures
* Run reports as required from (OneAdvanced)
Recruitment
* Recruitment of all mid – senior level roles (Finance, Sales, Engineering, Operational, IT etc) for EMEA and other global locations as requested
* Develop job specifications, identify best methods of recruitment and selection, conduct interviews, negotiate job offers and contracts for EMEA and other global locations as requested
* Manage Company recruitment platforms - LinkedIn Recruiter License Module & Indeed
* Scheduling and analysis of psychometric testing, writing candidate reports and making recommendations for hire for EMEA and other global locations as requested
* Development of induction and training programmes with the hiring manager for new office-based hires
Payroll – Preparation of
* Irish and EMEA payrolls
* Other payrolls as required (He/she will be cross trained to provide cover on all payrolls)
* Manage Parents Leave/Parental Leave/Maternity Leave/Paternity Leave etc. requests
* Payroll Reports as required
* End of year reconciliations as required
Training & Development for group
* Induction for staff group – develop new induction programmes
* Further Education Sponsorship Programmes
* Management Development
* Career Development
ER & IR for group
* Manage Industrial Relations
* Policies and Procedures – update accordingly and communicate
* Manage Employee Relations
Other:
* Assistance in legal issues in conjunction with the Global HR Director
* Other projects as assigned by Global HR Director
Role requirements:
* 3+ years HR experience in a Generalist/Specialist role
* Third level qualification in HR
* Recruitment experience in mid-senior level roles across multiple disciplines
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Previous ER & IR experience in a unionised environment
* Good knowledge of payroll (payroll qualification advantageous)
