Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance of renewable energy assets, ensuring maximized plant availability and efficiency while advancing green initiatives in line with company strategy.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage renewable energy assets to achieve optimal plant availability and efficiency.
* Lead the maintenance of power plants and associated support systems, ensuring alignment with operations teams and adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Develop and implement strategic spare part management, purchasing, and contract management to meet company standards.
* Plan and deliver outages safely and on time.
* Implement the Plant Business Management System, coordinating interfaces with trading, biomass supply, regulatory authorities, and accreditation bodies.
* Develop resource plans for the maintenance team and succession plans, ensuring people development plans are implemented.
* Promote a culture of health and safety, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work.
* Lead and performance manage direct reports, participating in performance management processes to deliver objectives.
Requirements
* BSc in Engineering or related technical discipline.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
* Proven experience in large-scale thermal power plant or related heavy industrial maintenance.
* Experience at a middle management level, with the ability to lead, motivate, and direct teams effectively.
* Power plant operation experience desirable, with excellent people management skills required.
