Job Description
We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support and advise on risk and assurance matters through regular site visits, audits, and monitoring progress in accordance with site improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* SLG certified with the ability to sign off on documents related to Sign, Lighting, and Guarding.
* Support the Project Management Team with day-to-day safety activities on site.
* Conduct regular formal site audits and inspections as directed by the Safety Management system.
* Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all employees or contractors.
* Ensure sub-contractor safety documents are produced and available on site and up to date.
* Advise the Site/Project Management team on high-risk activities.
* Assist in incident/accident investigation reporting and filing.
* Manage the Toolbox Schedule for the project.
* Advise site management on training requirements for each project.
Requirements:
* Recognised EHS Qualification.
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Mechanical & Electrical experience is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence safety.
* Full Drivers Licence.
