This financial Semi-State Body in Dublin 1 is currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Assistant Finance (Funds) Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities - Conduct and review due diligence for all new investments. - Administer loans, including reviewing agreements and calculating interest. - Manage quarterly reporting to the Investment Valuation Committee. - Oversee the year-end direct equity valuation process. - Ensure adherence to finance processes, procedures, and controls. - Participate in the development of workflows and procedures. - Train, coach, and mentor junior team members. Key Skills and Requirements - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). - Third-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills. - Experience in the administration and accounting of various investments. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications.
