Company description: Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Financial Controller within our Roomex division. This position falls under our Finance line of business and is located in Dublin. In this role, you will lead and oversee the financial operations of Roomex, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will report directly to the CFO and regularly collaborate with Group Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Business Operations teams. Job description: Role & Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Leading a team of accountants to produce statutory, quarterly, and monthly financial accounts for Roomex. Managing the team through goal setting, performance review, career development, and succession planning to maximize potential and drive success. Producing accurate and timely monthly financial accounts and reports with in-depth commentary to identify actionable insights that support business growth. Acting as the central finance contact point for financial control matters with the parent company/group. Supervising credit management, collections, and cash management activities while developing SMART targets for debtor days and cash collection. Monitoring company performance by analyzing results, identifying variances, and developing corrective actions. Managing all direct and indirect tax matters and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Overseeing financial systems (notably Netsuite), processes, and controls, driving improvements, integrations, and automation. Preparing Statutory Financial Statements and managing the statutory audit process within agreed timelines. Participating in key business decisions as a member of the finance leadership team. Performing other duties as required within the scope of this role. Required profile: About You You are an experienced Finance Leader with strategic capabilities and strong operational skills. You have successfully developed a Controllership function aligned with business objectives and have built and led a global Finance team. 7+ years of post-qualification experience, including 3+ years at Financial Controller level, preferably within a technology environment. Recognized taxation qualification (preferred). Experience with US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations. Strong track record in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Results-driven, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and provide actionable financial insights. Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data integrity and process optimization. Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude, resilience, and a strong team focus.
