IT Support Engineer
Contract | €160/day+ | Cork
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our client. You will diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, set up computer systems, and provide training to end-users. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues promptly.
2. Set up and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and networking equipment.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
4. Document support activities, including resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
Qualifications:
5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
6. Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
7. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are a plus.
