Catering Manager Job Description
We are a customer-focused food and facilities management company offering unrivalled opportunities for career progression. We have an exciting role available for a Catering Manager to join our team based at Dublin - Department of Health, covering Maternity Leave.
Job Summary
* Responsible for the day-to-day operations of catering services, working 5 days out of 7.
* To assist with all aspects of preparation and presentation to the company's standards.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures, by training, supervising, follow-up audits, and hands-on management.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering department.
* Organising all food service employees and resources needed to deliver the hospitality offer, operating to agreed budget and quality standards.
* Assisting at service times by serving customers at the counter, completing sales controls and documentation, and communicating well with customers.
* Loading service counters, ensuring sufficient supplies throughout the service period, checking deliveries and temperatures, and operating the till during service periods.
The Person
We are looking for an individual who:
* Is eligible to work in the EU/EEA.
* Has experience in a similar role.
* Is Food Hygiene Level 3 qualified.
* Can demonstrate great teamwork skills, exceptional customer service skills, and a flexible and adaptable approach.
