Senior Information Security Analyst
Role and Purpose:
Support day-to-day information security activities, planning and implementing security measures to protect computer networks and information. Enhance the organisation's security posture by monitoring vulnerability analytics, system compliance, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
* Assist with business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning and testing.
* Manage phishing campaigns and security awareness training compliance.
* Communicate clear advice to manage risk and lead employee security and awareness training efforts.
* Liaise with the CIE Incident Response team and report on vulnerability status.
* Analyse and manage cyber security incidents in a timely manner.
* Identify and escalate changes affecting information security policy and procedures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
* Certificates such as CEH, CCNP, CISSP, or OSCP.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Minimum three years of experience in cyber security at a midsize or large organisation.
* Knowledge of common vulnerabilities, system hardening, and networking.
* Strong abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and analytics.
* Ability to work successfully in individual and team settings.
