Contracts Manager
We are currently recruiting for the position of a Contracts Manager to join a building project in Carlow. Your mission is to lead the management of one of our large-scale sites, reporting directly to the Construction Director.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project, managing a large staff and ensuring that the client's requirements are met while maintaining the highest Safety, Quality and environmental standards. The project must be delivered with a focus on sustainability from design through delivery.
* Communicate effectively with both client and design team.
* Main point of contact for the client with responsibility for engaging with the client on site commercial decisions.
* Provide leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:
Preparation of the Project Execution Plan including Contracting Strategy, Programme, budget, and risks mitigation plan. Responsible for managing the daily operation of the site, Management of the Project Budget and Contract Administration in conjunction with the Project Quantity Surveyor. Programme management and adjustment of programmes as required to facilitate any changes (In conjunction with project planner/programmer).

Liaison and Coordination:
Liaison with Planning/Development Team to ensure project value-engineered during the Pre-Construction Stage. Management of the Project Design Team during construction to ensure coordination of information flow to the site teams. Coordination of key project stakeholders including statutory authorities and liaison with JV Project partners if necessary.

Implementation of Best Practice:
Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.

Requirements:
Degree/Honours qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent. Minimum 10 years' experience working on large scale complex projects with multiple phased handovers. Previous experience delivering a largescale project in a tight time frame and on a live site/campus. Experience of Precast frame installation.
