Customer Service Representative (Motor Industry)

Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively sell products and services, demonstrating the benefits and features to customers.
* Coordinate between customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
* Monitor and manage service alerts, contacting customers to schedule necessary bookings.
* Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival, ensuring all required forms are completed.
* Develop strong customer relationships to increase labor and parts sales at the Depot.
* Ensure that all repair orders are correctly documented and authorized before being handed over to the workshop.
* Plan and confirm CVRT appointments, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied with the arrangements.
* Follow up with customers after service or repair visits to gauge satisfaction and resolve any issues.
* Maximize the workshop's capacity by efficiently managing the schedule and ensuring all resources, including labour and parts, are available in advance.
* Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on job progress.
* Manage loan vehicle bookings for customers as needed.
* Convert Fusion data into repair orders and obtain customer authorization for quoted work.
* Maintain customer information in the workshop planner and other systems.
* Ensure the customer reception area is kept at a professional standard.
* Participate in relevant training programs to continuously develop your skills.
* Clarify and communicate repair details, including the basis for repairs, whether retail, warranty, or contract.
* Ensure timely authorization of incremental work by liaising with the customer.
* Effectively handle cash sale invoices.
* Review and manage the VOSP service plan and adjust it as needed to meet customer requirements.
* Assist in ensuring that all repair work is completed in accordance with agreed timescales.
Required Skills:
* Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience in the HGV or motor industry is essential.
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities.
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in using IT systems and applications.
