A Manufacturing Engineer is required to maximize the performance of manufacturing processes within a company by providing high-impact technical and operational support.
The role involves implementing process controls for robust and repeatable commercial product manufacturing, applying continuous improvement methodology, and ensuring that all engineering work and designs meet GMP, QA/Regulatory Authority standards and Environmental Health and Safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Implementing process controls for manufacturing processes
* Applying continuous improvement methodology
* Ensuring compliance with GMP, QA/Regulatory Authority standards and Environmental Health and Safety standards
* Managing projects using PM principles
* Providing technical support to new product/technology introductions
* Evaluating and correcting non-conforming products and processes
* Completing validations and process improvements using statistical tools and six sigma techniques
Requirements:
* Honours Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent discipline
* Relevant experience in a responsible Manufacturing Engineering/Process Development role
* Catheter Manufacturing experience desired
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience
* Proven implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
* Understanding of measuring production line performance
