Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Maintain Framework: Develop and uphold the framework and methodology for managing all business continuity lifecycle activities, ensuring they align with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Plan Coordination: Coordinate periodic reviews, validations, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
- Training and Communication: Develop and implement comprehensive organization-wide training programs and communication strategies to enhance awareness and understanding of business continuity processes.
- Audit Support: Facilitate and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with required regulations and standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global teams to maintain a meaningful and sustainable business continuity program, fostering collaboration across diverse groups.
- Strategic Input: Provide input into strategic decisions that impact the business continuity program, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Risk Assessment: Develop and present business impact analysis and risk assessment results to senior leaders, offering recommendations on recovery priorities and solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity program management or consulting within the field.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of business continuity functions and department processes, with a strong understanding of the business continuity lifecycle.
- Standards Familiarity: Familiarity with ISO 22301 and the Business Continuity Institute’s Good Practice Guidelines.
- Influence and Collaboration: Demonstrated success in managing through influence across multiple groups, including both technology and business stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification is a plus.
Tools and Technologies:
* Proficiency in business continuity software tools and platforms.
* Familiarity with risk assessment and analysis tools.
* Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.
